Someone decided that since she was one year old now she could start eating real food!! Exciting and extremely messy all at the same time. A bath is usually required after each meal! I'm hoping that soon the food will just go in her mouth and she won't need to put it in her mouth, take it out, play with it and rub it in her hair before actually eating it.

September 11, 2010, Rachel turned 1 year old. We can't believe it has been a whole year already, it has gone so fast and has been the best year of our lives! Rachel had the best party and had so much fun with all her family and friends.

The highlight of the party was definitely watching her eat a cupcake!! She loved it!

First Haircut

Daddy decided it was time for a trim last night so Mommy got out the scissors and butchered Rachel's hair! We just trimmed the bangs a little so that she would be able to see :) She looks like a different baby!

Gymboree!!

We took a music class today at Gymboree and it was a blast! Rachel couldn't sit still, she had to be in the middle of the circle the whole time. She loved playing with the instruments and dancing!

Trip to Lake Charles, Lousiana

Matching outfits, which only lasted for about an hour before they both got dirty!

Rachel and I are in Texas visiting the family and it's so hot that we decided to hit the road and go to Lake Charles! We went to the children's museum and the water park, both were a big hit with little Rachel. She loved sitting in the shallow water and crawling and splashing. She even braved the slide with mom!
